This was my dream voyage, West Coast to Japan on a freighter, once I had the time and money for it. I may have waited too long. It seems that the shipping lines that carried passengers all stopped when Covid hit, and have postponed indefinitely taking passengers again. Maybe passenger travel on cargo ships, transpacific ships, will re-start someday, but I'm not holding my breath.
